Hosanna Dance Newsletter Spring Edition 2014 ∙ 104 E Pleasant ∙ Pierre ∙ Artistic Director, Sunny Hannum ∙ Vol 2 Think Spring! Think Summer! It has been an unusual dance year so far for absences due to illness and injuries occurring in other activities apart from dance making it difficult to complete the list of 20 dances. The dance pieces have been challenging because almost all of them have 3 or 4 dances and groups within each dance. I am blessed for this show to have Josh and Sarah Easter and Emily Plumage doing some choreography. We are also blessed to have two new young male dancers join us to help with some of the pas de deux work. They are Logan Baker from Murdo and Israel Kanz here from Pierre. Israel danced in our first performance of Sleeping Beauty in 2005. The physical therapy workshop in January was excellent and benefited everyone but especially those with recurring injuries or recovering from injuries.
