Shotokan Karate Classes Shotokan is a traditional karate system. Richard Hathaway, a 3 time black belt, is teaching Shotokan twice a week starting January 14. There is still room in this class. The 2 hour classes are on Wednesday & Friday nights from 7-9 pm for ages 10-adult. You can take class twice a week or once a week. For information call 605-945-1044.  Shotokan Karate - Wednesdays & Fridays, 7:00-9:00 pm Adult Ballet & Adult/Youth Tap Classes Have you always wanted to try tap dance? What about ballet? Whether you have never danced or danced as a kid, come, give it a try. We have a new adult/youth tap class that follows our regular adult ballet class on Saturdays.  Class is open to adults & youth ages 10 and up.  See you there! Hosanna Dance Newsletter New Year Edition 2015 ∙ 104 E Pleasant ∙ Pierre ∙ Artistic Director, Sunny Hannum ∙ Vol 1 Happy New Year! What a great ending to a great year! Thanks to everyone who made The Greatest Gift of All a huge success but most of all thanks to the Lord whose hand was all over it. I didn’t think our shows could get any better than He Lives in You: Lion King but they just keep exceeding wildest expectations. Even more rewarding is seeing young dancers who just keep improving. Thank you for all your gifts in December! We have already begun planning The Deliverer: Prince of Egypt and will soon be posting costume fees which will be due by February 1 st . This show will follow the theme of Prince of Egypt so there won’t be so many variety dances as there were in our Nutcracker . We did this show in 2007 with a focus on the story of the Jewish people. From 2014/12015 Calendar 2015 Week of Jan 5 Parent Observation Week 2015 Dance Classes Begin Half Year /New Student Registration February 1 Costume Fees for Prince of Egypt deadline Week of Feb 2 Parent Observation Week - in studio Third Quarter Week of Mar 2 Parent Observation Week - in studio Week of Apr 6 Parent Observation Week - in studio Week of May 4 Parent Observation Week - in studio -- Dress rehearsal & performances are in a month. Make sure you have everything you will need -- new tights in the correct color(s), shoes, undergarments, etc. May Run-through Rehearsals For Ballet II and up Tuesday nights in May 5:30-8:30 pm At the studio ~ End of Year Performance ~ June 3, Wednesday The Deliverer Rehearsal Riggs Theatre    5:30-8:00 pm Warm-up starts at 5:30 -  be already dressed for dance and ready to go  before  5:30 .
